Fentanyl has and is becoming a widespread problem in the US and I’m concerned it will eventually become a local problem. In addition to the forms it comes in as mentioned below (brightly colored fentanyl tablets, powder, and blocks that look like candy or sidewalk chalk) it is now often seen in other illicit drugs such as methamphetamine and heroin.
The Santee Health Center pharmacy has Naloxone (the antidote to Fentanyl and other opioids) in stock and anyone who wishes to have this on hand can get it from the pharmacy, no questions asked, no prescription needed.
